Meister Media Worldwide (also referred to in this Privacy Policy with the terms “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of all those who provide us with their contact information while using our websites, products, events or services (“you” or “Users”). We have created this privacy policy to demonstrate our commitment to full disclosure of the information we collect and how we use the personal information you provide us.

A current list of the Meister Media Worldwide websites for our publications covered by this Privacy Policy (the “Sites”) can be found here. Additionally, a list of the Meister Media Worldwide websites for our Events covered by this Privacy Policy can be found here.

Information You Provide

We may collect personally identifying information from you in the course of your use of our websites, products, events or services (“Services”) as further described in this Privacy Policy. Personally identifiable information is information that can identify you, such as your full name, email address, mailing address, phone number and fax number. In some cases you might provide information to us, and in other cases information about you or your activities on our Services may be automatically collected, as further described below. We may also receive information about you from other sources and add it to the information you have provided us.

If you use a credit card to pay for any Meister Media Worldwide product, event or service, including products offered in our online store, you will be asked to supply credit card billing information and shipping information. In each case, name, company affiliation, address, e-mail address, phone and fax numbers, credit card type and number will be asked. Billing information will be used to bill your credit card provider for your purchase, and shipping information will be disclosed to third party shippers. Unless you choose to opt out, we may disclose your purchasing information with third parties as described in the Privacy Policy.

Meister Media Worldwide is not responsible for the information you volunteer about yourself in discussion forums, message boards, social media posts or other publicly accessible areas.

Use of Personal Information Collected

Our use of the personal information that you volunteer to provide to us, is to contact you regarding products, services and information we believe you would find useful. We may also store and use your personal information for our own internal purposes including list management and demographic matching with other internal database information.

The personally identifying information you provide to us may be added to our databases and used for future communications regarding site updates, upcoming events, status of online orders, and new products and services. Unless you provide an “opt-out” notice in accordance with the instructions on our site and in our communications, we will provide your personally identifiable information as part of our visitor and subscriber lists to relevant third parties if we believe our subscribers would be interested in receiving an e-mail or other written correspondence from any such third party.

Additionally, composite or aggregate tracking information generated by certain cookies for traffic accounting and content analysis may be shared with third parties for the purpose of documenting site activity and other trends. We emphasize that the foregoing statistical information is not directly linked to any personal information and cannot be used to identify you or any individual user of our web site.

How We Use Cookies

If your browser is set to allow cookies, we may store small amounts of information on your computer about what parts of our websites you have visited and what features you like best. This will ease future navigation when you revisit our sites. We use cookies to identify members so that they do not have to re-enter their usernames and passwords. Cookies may also be used to limit the number of advertisements you see while on our site. It is not necessary to have cookies turned on to visit our site, but without them, your access to some areas may be limited and custom navigation may not be available to you.

How We Use Your Contact Information

We may use your contact information to send you notices regarding your account, including subscription renewals or registration confirmation. We may provide you with information about products or services you’ve ordered or which we think may be of interest to you, and we may also use your contact information to ask for your input to help in our research about our services, events, or products or to provide you with additional information about the Sites.

We may also send you e-newsletters with targeted, relevant content. All e-Newsletters sent by Meister Media Worldwide are compliant with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. Each e-newsletter will provide you with an opportunity to unsubscribe from that particular e-newsletter. Unsubscribing from one newsletter will not affect delivery of other newsletters.

All e-mails contain a valid opt-out mechanism, the valid postal address of Meister Media Worldwide, an operative return address, and an accurate and explanatory subject line. At any time, subscribers may cancel their subscription to any e-mail list by sending us an email.

In some cases, we may also send you relevant, carefully-screened offers from reputable third party businesses or organizations. Many of our customers appreciate receiving these offers because they relate to their business or occupation. However, you will always be able to opt-out of receiving future third party offers.

Information We Share with Third Parties

We only deal with third party companies who demonstrate a commitment to privacy and to the security of your information.

We may provide personally identifiable information to those acting as our agents in providing our products and services, including third-party companies we have employed to provide us with specialized services, including customer service, subscription fulfillment, research, statistical analysis, list cleansing, postal mailings, email and fax deployment, telemarketing, and other information services. In compliance with privacy laws, we also provide our opt-out lists to those third-party companies so that they can be suppressed from the communications those companies send on Meister Media Worldwide’s behalf.

From time to time our sponsors wish to contact our subscribers and customers who have indicated an interest in the products, services or events provided by such sponsors. If you register for products or services offered by such sponsors or third parties, or for events sponsored in whole or in part by a third party, or otherwise opt-in to permit us to share your personally identifiable information, then you may receive communications directly from such third parties.

Additionally, there are times when our sponsors wish to contact our subscribers who have indicated an interest in the products, services or events publicized in a particular e-newsletter by clicking on their link in the en-newsletter. If you do not wish to have your email address shared with that e-newsletter’s sponsors, you will be given an opportunity, within the email to opt-out.

Your Right to Opt-Out

If you do not wish for your personally identifying information to be used by third parties you may opt out of this service by checking the “opt-out” box wherever provided. You may also opt out by mailing us a letter or sending us an e-mail at the address below, specifying that you have elected to opt out of any third party mailings. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of each site before providing your personal information, and to contact the providers directly if you have any questions about their privacy policies.

How We Keep Your Information Secure
