Meister Media Worldwide takes your privacy very seriously. We have developed this privacy policy to let you know how we collect and use the personal information you provide to us.

Information You Volunteer. We collect personally identifying information (name, email address, mailing address, industry, occupation) which you choose to provide to us such as when registering at any of our websites, registering for webcasts, downloading informational material, accessing databases, subscribing to our magazines and e-newsletters, participating in surveys, and/or registering for tradeshows.

Our websites log IP addresses and browser types but we do not match IP addresses against personally identifiable information. This means that your online session will be tracked, but you will remain anonymous in the public areas of the sites. However, we hope that all of our users will register with us to utilize all of the product and service offerings available at our sites.

Use of Personal Information Collected. The personally identifying information you provide to us may be added to our databases and used for future communications regarding site updates, upcoming events, status of online orders, and new products and services. Unless you provide an “opt-out” notice in accordance with the instructions on our site and in our communications, we will provide your personally identifiable information as part of our visitor and subscriber lists to relevant third parties if we believe our subscribers would be interested in receiving an e-mail or other written correspondence from any such third party.

We also share with our advertisers the data that we collect from cookies and other browser technology or ID addresses to help them better understand our audience and to monitor the reach of their advertising.

Meister Media Worldwide is not responsible for the information you volunteer about yourself in discussion forums, message boards or other publicly accessible areas.

How We Use Cookies. If your browser is set to allow cookies, we may store small amounts of information on your computer about what parts of our websites you have visited and what features you like best. This will ease future navigation when you revisit our sites. We use cookies to identify members so that they do not have to re-enter their usernames and passwords. Cookies may also be used to limit the number of advertisements you see while on our site. Information We Share with Third Parties. We only deal with third party companies who demonstrate a commitment to privacy and to the security of your information. There are times when our sponsors wish to contact our subscribers who have indicated an interest in the products, services or events publicized in a particular e-newsletter by clicking on their link in the en-newsletter. If you do not wish to have your email address shared with that e-newsletter’s sponsors, you will be given an opportunity, described in the e-newsletter, to opt-out – or you may contact our customer service department at the number/email listed below.

e-Newsletters. All e-Newsletters sent by Meister Media Worldwide are compliant with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. All e-mails contain a valid opt-out mechanism, the valid postal address of Meister Media Worldwide, an operative return address, and an accurate and explanatory subject line. At any time, subscribers may cancel their subscription to any e-mail list by sending us an email.

Your Right to Opt-Out. If you do not wish for your personally identifying information to be used by third parties you may opt out of this service by checking the “opt-out” box wherever provided. You may also opt out by mailing us a letter or sending us an e-mail at the address below, specifying that you have elected to opt out of any third party mailings. Many of our websites contain links to websites owned and operated by unaffiliated third parties. These links are provided as a service to you, and do not constitute Meister Media Worldwide’s endorsement or support of the third party websites. The third parties who operate these sites have their own information collection and use practices, and Meister Media Worldwide is not responsible for either the privacy practices or the content of these sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of each site before providing your personal information, and to contact the providers directly if you have any questions about their privacy policies.

Children’s Privacy. It is important to us that we protect the privacy of children. We do not intentionally collect or maintain information through the websites from those we actually know are under the age of 13, and no part of our website is designed to target or attract anyone under the age of 13. No one under the age of 13 should provide any personal information or participate in any forums, chats, or online discussions. Minors under the age of 18 are prohibited from making purchases, including subscriptions, on our sites. Please discourage your children from providing any personal information about themselves to anyone in any public discussion areas.

Online Store. Meister Media Worldwide has an online store. If you purchase items from our online store, you will be asked to supply credit card billing information and shipping information (in each case, name, company affiliation, address, e-mail address, phone and fax numbers, credit card type and number). Billing information will be used to bill your credit card provider for your purchase, and shipping information will be disclosed to third party shippers. Unless you choose to opt out, we may disclose your purchasing information with third parties as described above.

Terms of Use and Policy Changes. Meister Media Worldwide reserves the right to access and disclose personally identifiable information to comply with applicable laws, lawful government requests and any orders of the court. Meister Media Worldwide may amend our privacy policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it. We last modified this privacy policy on November 30, 2009, which is the effective date of this policy.

Your California Privacy Rights. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of personal information that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
