Midwest Ag Industries Exposition | August 23-24, 2017 | Bloomington, IL
Willoughby, OH, U.S. – July 12, 2017 – The 2017 Midwest Ag Industries Exposition (MAGIE) returns to Bloomington’s McLean County Fairgrounds in Illinois this August. And this year’s event marks the 10th year that CropLife IRON® magazine, a publication of Meister Media Worldwide, will serve as the official media partner of this long-standing industry event. MAGIE is hosted annually by the Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association (IFCA).
Jean Payne, IFCA President, recalls that embarking on a partnership with CropLife IRON was a move designed to help sustain the MAGIE show by bringing a greater sense of awareness to the unique nature of this outdoor equipment show through promotional media.
“In truth, aiming at ‘sustainability’ for MAGIE undersold what CropLife IRON has brought to this industry event,” says Payne. “MAGIE now truly thrives, as the event that excels in showcasing the unique aspect of custom application, equipment and professional services that IFCA members and the CropLife IRON audience bring to the agricultural industry.”
“We’ve been impressed with the energy and enthusiasm that the IFCA staff, Board, and the MAGIE Committee have put behind the MAGIE conference over the past decade,” says Paul Schrimpf, Executive Editor of CropLife IRON. “MAGIE is an extremely valuable experience for our core audience, the agricultural retailer, and we look forward to many more years of collaboration.”
The MAGIE Show Stopper Award, sponsored by CropLife IRON magazine, highlights the top product display at the conference as selected by attendee survey. Mark Burns, Case IH Application Equipment Manager, accepts the 2016 award flanked by Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association (IFCA) President Jean Payne, and CropLife IRON Editor Eric Sfiligoj.
In addition to serving as the official media partner, CropLife IRON sponsors the MAGIE Show Stopper Award, which honors the top product display at the exposition as judged through an on-site survey of attendees.
“The staff at CropLife IRON shares our passion for the industry and its ability to reach a wide, dedicated audience has broadened the appeal and importance of MAGIE,” says IFCA’s Payne. “Thanks to CropLife IRON, MAGIE is more than an acronym; it is part of what our industry is all about.”
